Project Pickle Southlands Teaching Farm

The teaching farm is looking fantastic as we move in to mid July. Recent plantings include about 100 Romawhich will be used in our fall marinara sauce production. Together with the Spanish onions, peppers and other herbs grown on the farm and at school farms throughout Delta, the finished product is already eagerly anticipated by the student farmers who will also be involved in the processing and packaging part of the exercise.
