Powerlines? What are those things on Hwy 17?
I am a little baffled by the BCTC plan to upgrade the wooden poles that bisect Tsawassen. There seems to be a big set of metal towers carrying powerlines to the shoreline by Highway 17 on the way to the ferry terminal. Couldn't that line take the extra voltage over to the Island?

What do people think about this latest update to the long standing saga?
I seem to recall that the offer to bury the lines was in place over a year ago but that this was refused by TRAVHOL. If I was the Government I would be a little pissed off at Tsawwassen residents.
