The Delta Ring Road Debate

The serious increase in ferry traffic and container traffic from Roberts Bank has raised the debate for alternative routing of trucks and possibly ferry traffic. Roberts Bank traffic seems to be at the heart of the problem though there is strong consideration for looking after ferry traffic congestion. In the past year we have had 2-3 accidents which have seriously blocked the Highway 17 artery for long periods of time. It is envisioned that an alternative ring road would ease the strain on this highway system. What do you think?
