Recreational facilities for South Delta

There has been much talk over the years as to whether or not South Delta (Ladner AND Tsawwassen) have ample recreational facilities. This question is often triggered whenever a South Deltan leaves their community and visits locales in North Delta, Surrey, Richmond, Langley, White Rock/South Surrey, etc.

The questions are: What is your perception? What is your perception based upon? And, does anyone have any real data that can be used as objective criteria to aid us in coming up with sensible opinions?
