MUSIC DOWNLOAD: Fat Papa, "Copperhead Road", from their new album "Papa-palooza".
Local acoustic quartet, Fat Papa, offers its first free download from their popular new release, "Papa-palooza". Featuring the sounds of dobro, acoustic and bass, the Papas stylize the songs of Lyle Lovett, Steve Earle, Steely Dan, Pink Floyd, and more. It's eclectic, it's old time music with a new twist.
The first tune is "Copperhead Road", a remake of the Steve Earle classic featuring Oklahoma Dave on dobro, JJ on acoustic lead, the Prez on bass, and PapaG on vocals and rhythm guitar. Listen to the harmonies as the song builds to the big ensemble at the end.

I assume this is a Tsawwassen group? Nice tasty stuff. I'd vote for more offerings. It's nice to hear a dobro - what a different sound that is.
Where is this band from when you say "Local"? This is really neat music and I'd like to hear more. Please give us that next download.
