Worms and Kale

Good fun this afternoon with the McCloskey kids. We buried a few hundred worms with compost and chowed on the lst of the Kale. A great group of kids!

Think lasagna when you are composting. Layers of greens and browns make for the best compost. Red wigglers seem to thrive with some corregated cardboard in the mix too. Give that a try.

I'm not having much luck generating worms in my composting bin. Any suggestions?

Hungry little creatures! They eat 4 times their body weight every day!
