Seeding salad

One team of a couple of dozen planted Spinach and Lettuce at Cliff Drive on Wednesday.

Using the buddy sytem inherent to Project Pickle, about 80 kids got to get outside to plant on this day. Several dozen more next week leading up to the big pickle planting in a couple of weeks.

Depending on the variety and the growing conditions 4-6 weeks.

We are hoping that your daughter will be taking some home for spinach salad on the last day of school!

My daughter planted spinach at Cliff Drive the other day and she is asking me when it will be ready to eat. I should really pay more attention to these types of things. You probably already told the childred when it would be ready but if you could please tell me that would be wonderful.
