Project Pickle is too much fun!

By BYCOOP admin - Posted on 22 May 2013

Yes indeed. Kids come alive when they are outside and getting their fingers dirty. 3500 hundred children will be involved in getting our school neighbourhood farms up and running this year. Next year? All in....16,000 learners and future farmers

School farm produce will be available for sale at selected retailers and in promotions offered by local restaurants.

We are also looking to set up a mini farmers market on school district owned land. More on this shortly.

The farms will be maintained by students from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and senior highschool students.

My relatives have been involved in Project Pickle but we are womdering what happens over the summer holidays
