Early seeding

A nice warm day at Gibson elementary last week. It looks like this week will chill right down again. Oh well! There is nothing wrong with experimenting on the farms. The kids should not be afraid to take risks. Farming is a risky business after all.

Just like last year, some of our crops are going to seed way too early. Changing they way we plan for our crops.

As were the past few days. Temperatures in the twenties makes watering a challenge

The upside of early seeding is that we get a nice early start to the season but already the weather has proved challenging! Last week was exceptionally warm and dry

Some early beans atPebble Hill haven't germinated. Oh well! Lots to put in their place!

If there is anything clear about weather, it is that it is certainly unpredictable!

We have lots of seed so no worries!
