Composting

The gang at Pebble Hill had fun putting more compost in to the farm soil. Chalked full of red wigglers!

We are starting the task of choosing our veggie seeds. It is all done by concensus with the stipulation that one bed be dedicated to cucumber seedlings in May.

Did you know that Compost worms can eat up to 4 times their body weight every day? Well, now you do.

We also had fun with a worm stomp. After burying the compost we went back to the class to take a look at a seed chart. The kids will pick their top three veggies to seed in two weeks time.
