Burying weekend scraps

Grade 5 and 6 students at Pebble Hill Traditional school get ready to bury greens and browns for compost.
Each burial included a generous scoop of worms which provided for some good squealing from some of the kids. Too funny!

A new worm resort launched at Pebble Hill this morning. Grade 5 and 6 students were assigned with the task of filling a paper lunch bag with browns and greens to bury in an assigned compost bed on the school site. We will revisit the site after the Christmas break to see how the buffet worked out.
